Glastonbury has now sold out for 2009. After the disappointment of the festival not fully selling out in 2008 the organisers took a new approach and started selling the tickets 11 months in advance and it seems to have paid off. The festival has not confirmed any acts yet even though they were slated so much last year all the 2009 tickets have sold out.

Bestival in 2009 will be taking place on 11th to the 13th of September. In 2008 it rained really bad if i remember correctly but nether the less everyone had a really good time

Glastonbury Organisers are hoping to delay their year off until 2012 so that they don’t clash with the Olympics. The organisers always have a year off now and then (I’m not sure what the gap actually is) to give the land a break and regenerate. The year off is due to be in 2011 but they are hoping to move that to 2012.
