I mentioned previously in a post this year that Creamfields 2009 will be marketed by a company from manchester, they would be responsible for branding in 2009 as well as media campaighns. Well Creamfields.com have launched a new design for their website. It still looks similar to the old website in terms of layout and usability however it does look a lot fresher and hey when a festival launches a new design on a website then that means its getting closer!!

Bestival was one of the most popular festivals in 2008 from who i spoke to and what i read, Despite terrible weather i still didn’t hear anything negative about the festival, even when an outdoor stage got closed!

In a world of financial doom and gloom festivals seem to be defiant against everybody being skint! The Heavenly Planet festival has been the first festival i have heard of that started to sell tickets and then decided to make the festival free, returning the money of people whom had already paid. Most of the other festivals give the impression of offering people a cheaper experience by offering “early bird” tickets frozen at the previous years price

As a general rule festivals do not have dress codes. You may get a festival like Bestival which will have a fancy dress theme or an event like Sensations white in holland were everybody co-ordinates what they were but apart from that its completely free.
