Dance Valley is the mother of all dance festivals in the early noughties, it was the pioneer, It was the first dance festival that did a full weekend and offered camping, now days they have reverted back to the one day setup. The down size to dance valley is definitely the size, they have the largest lineup of any dance festival you will ever see and yet it is really good value. This year the festival is costing €62 which is not much compared to the festivals being held in the UK with £70 charges for one day. If you get tickets for the event then you can get Camping Holidays in Holland for a good price and save your money on hotel’s.

In the past Dance valley have really thrown out the carpet to the Dj’s, in the past i have seen video’s of Paul Oakenfold playing while a helicopter hovered above the crowd dropping rose petals onto them! The pure size of the stage’s used are again amazing. Just having some decks is not enough, these people need extravagance on a big scale, One of the stages have trow of the vans Scooby Doo drives on top of them, Another one is a 100ft acid smiley face!

This year Dance Valley celebrate 15 years and the festival is held on the 11th July. It opens at 11am and runs through for a full 12 hours till 11pm. Once the mammoth lineup as announced i will reveal it here.

If you want to go to a festival in Holland then first you have to get there! Ive had a look and have a good price on flights to Amsterdam. If you can fly from Gatwick then you can get a flight with British Airways for only £ 164.20 for 2 people, thats only £82 each which is a good price.

Dance valley for those of you that dont know is the mother of all dance festivals. Dance valley is what all other festivals try to be like. It was the first dance festival to have a camp site and it attracts more people than any other dance festival in the world.

Held in the Netherlands they know how to impress with their music events.

Dance valley this year will be held on July 12th 2008 and due to safety restrictions the capacity is only reported to be 40,000 currently. The lineups for the event have been released and they are as follows:
