Police have hailed this year creamfields festival as a massive success, 40,000 people attended creamfields on Saturday and Sunday and out of all those people only 24 people were arrested. The reputation in the past has always lead people to believe that creamfields was a rough festival you was likely to get a smack in the face at on the door, this has never been the case on the whole and this year the very low crime figures prove that as the festival extended to 2 days and added camping. There was fears that lots of tents would be burgled but this fear never materialised.

This is great news for the festival organisers who have to battle every year to gain the licence to hold the event. Obvious licence restrictions had been placed on the event such as the finishing times on the two days but the fact that this year went so seamlessly can only mean a bit of an easier ride when it comes to the licence next year.
