Glastonbury Sell’s Out
Glastonbury 2009 has finally SOLD OUT! I have blogged that it sold out before but since then it seems they had more tickets released. Last Sunday however the final tickets went. The festival organisers will be more than happy with this as last year didn’t sell out as it was expected to, every excuse under the sun came out of the woodwork last year from the mud of previous years to the acts confirmed and Jay-Z took a battering for having the cheek to headline Glastonbury.
The full lineup has not been announced yet and will not be announced until one month before the festival. Plenty of people have said they want to play and people have pulled out. There are some acts that have confirmed however and they are:
Franz Ferdinand, The Ting Tings, White Lies, Echo & The Bunnymen, Fleet Foxes, Florence & The Machine, Emiliana Torrini, Lily Allen and headliners Bruce Springsteen, Blur and Neil Young.
Last year Glastonbury was dead and buried by a lot of critics, this year only good vibes are coming from the farm down south, Lets hope its a good one this year!
