Glastonbury Sells Out
Glastonbury has now sold out for 2009. After the disappointment of the festival not fully selling out in 2008 the organisers took a new approach and started selling the tickets 11 months in advance and it seems to have paid off. The festival has not confirmed any acts yet even though they were slated so much last year all the 2009 tickets have sold out.
In other Glastonbury related news Franz Ferdinand have confirmed they will be playing at this years festival. They announced the date on their Myspace page. Much like Lilly Allen who has also confirmed she will be playing this year. I personally think that these guys have been told to confirm to generate a bit of hype before the official announcement later this year.
