Security Getting Tight For Creamfields
Security at this years creamfields event will be tighter than ever. This may be in direct responce to some of the stories that have come out from Gatecrasher Summer Sound System with regards to people being robbed, cars and tents being broken into and also a person dieing at the event.
At this years creamfields and for the first time they will have metal detectors that everybody will need to pass through to get into the event. There will be increased CCTV coverage and a 500 strong security team. The police will also have an increased precence round the campsite and the main arena. All this comes with an agreement to reduce the events capacity by 10,000 and this is what has been agreed for the event to be given the go ahead.
