Summer Sound System 2008

Gatecrasher will be holding another Summer Sound System in 2008 and it will be held on Saturday May 24th – Sunday May 25th 2008 at Turweston Aerodrome, Northamptonshire, Gatecrashers claim is that they are

“set to celebrate two decades of acid house and with a nod to the past and a foot in the future, this will be the ultimate event for the discerning clubber and all round music lover.”

Last year was the first time Gatecrasher held their Annual event in some years, they left the event high and dry a few years ago when there was a bit more competition on the dance music festival calendar. When they stopped many people rated the summer sound system as the best. They returned last year with Picotto headlining and from most reports its was average. This year they seem to have pushed the boat out. This year for our enjoyment they are laying on and impressive 20 themed arenas and they have 20 live bands which is new to the Summer Sound System, over 200Dj’s will play and they have also secured a capacity of 60,000 people which for a dance festival is a good healthy number. amongst the headliners for the event are Justice, Pendulum and Paul Oakenfold.
